Avoro is a semi-transparent curtain fabric whose appearance is entirely defined by its construction. Fine circular forms are distributed across the surface — not applied, but developed from within the weave itself.
The fabric is based on a Scherli technique combined with a double-weave structure. The circles initially emerge through the binding, before being precisely slit in a subsequent step. During the following thermal finishing process, these cuts open in a controlled manner, causing the surrounding yarns to condense and form a subtle, raised outline — not printed, but structurally created.
The underlying fabric remains continuous throughout. The cuts act only on the fine, raised yarns, opening them and creating a differentiated surface within the same material layer. This interplay between the intact ground and these precise interventions gives Avoro a graphic clarity that reveals itself fully only upon closer inspection.
