Serenix is a decorative fabric that provides privacy while still allowing light to pass through. Its effect is not created by closed surfaces, but by an open structure that defines space without sealing it off.
The surface is shaped by vertically flowing, wave-like lines that move closer together and then apart again in a steady rhythm. Each line is composed of thousands of extremely fine fibers, held together as a yarn and aligned in parallel rather than twisted. Their position is maintained by an almost invisible support structure in the background, ensuring stability without drawing attention to itself.
Between the yarn lines, diamond-shaped openings allow light and air to move through the fabric. The underlying support gently softens the incoming light instead of blocking it, keeping the textile open and breathable while adding depth. At the same time, Serenix offers a notable acoustic benefit: the densely packed microfibers within each yarn interact with sound, helping to reduce reverberation without visually weighing down the space.
